JEFFERY C. BORCHARDT

Mr. Borchardt is a Senior Associate with 23 years of experience in zoological projects and is responsible for a full range of services from project procurement through contract preparations to project close-out procedures under construction administration. He has extensive experience in project management in cost estimating, specifications, and technology of systems that produce zoological exhibits of the highest quality.

Project Experience (*zoos)

*Memphis Zoo and Aquairium, Memphis, Tennessee, Egyptian themed entrance plaza and ticketing structure, parking lot, Egyptian themed courtyard with Administration Building, Gift Shop, Education Classrooms and Offices. Feline Exhibit arranged to display predator/prey relationships. Quarantine facilities meeting USDA regulations. Primate complex with seven exhibits,two of which are for great apes. Renovation of existing building into a nocturnal exhibit. Farm themed Children's village with livestock barns, flowing stream and miniature train. An Interpretive Building developed for traveleing exhibits completed the Children's village area, Northwest Passage Exhibit, themed Immersion Exhibit for species indigenous to the northern Pacific Coast; China (with Giant Pandas) and Teton Trek (with Grizzly Bears): Associate Project Manager; Project Design, Specifications, Construction Observation and Management.
*Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park, West Palm Beach, Florida - Tropics of the Americas a $10 million tropical exhibit; Tropics Cafe' a $4 million themed restaraunt and out door dining deck, Tiger Falls a $700,000 tiger exhibit, Fountain Plaza a $2 million central orientation plaza with interactive fountain, Florida exhibit a $2 million local biome exhibit; Associate Project Manager, Project Design, Cost Estimating and Management.
